Mad Doctor

Mad Doctor is a multi-screen action-adventure game with strategy elements. You play as Dr. Franz Johann Blockenspiel, and must leave your castle to search the village of Strudelberg for body parts with which to build your very own monster. These parts might come from fresh graves, the hospital, or a recently executed criminal. Alternatively, you can take matters into your own hands and murder villagers you find wandering around. You must be careful, as committing too many evil deeds will cause the villagers to rise up against you.

The player has a lot of agency in the game; you can read books left by your uncle, you must eat and drink to stay alive, and you can lock people in a cell for later use if the body you build doesn't work out. If you succeed in building a monster from suitable parts, animating it by electrifying a kite and are able to subdue it with tranquilisers, you can exhibit it in the village hall and finally gain the fame and notoriety you seek!
