About Brides of Dracula
Brides of Dracula is a two-player split-screen game. Each player controls either the vampire hunter Van Helsing or Count Dracula. Van Helsing has been summoned to the village of Bistritz to kill Dracula and his wives. His objective is to find thirteen tools to kill Dracula and bring them back to Helsing. For Dracula, the objective is to obtain thirteen wives by finding women, biting them and taking them back to the crypt, where thirteen coffins are lined up waiting for their recipients. Some of the dangers can only affect one of the characters (the ghouls only attack Van Helsing, while the priests and villagers only harm Dracula). Each player starts with three lives. Items and women collected are displayed at the bottom of the character window, along with the health bar. The game takes place in the churchyard and the adjacent village.
